The WE KNIFE 2017D OSS DAGGER by Justin Lundquist is the backup knife you didn't know you needed. Having a fixed blade around the neck to complement your EDC will be way more useful than you think it will. Just pull it from the sheath with it already indexed thanks to the handle design and you're good to go. Make the cut then follow the tip into the sheath while pointing away from you, tuck it back into your shirt, and it's like it was never there.
This specific design follows a tactical aesthetic but its lack of preventing you from sliding forward onto the blade beside the traction of the G10 - which is ample mind you - makes this a utility design. The double edge ground CPM-20CV blade is up to the task and you'll find resharpening it easier than a regular double bevel blade. Add in a Kydex sheath with stainless steel neck chain and MOLLE Lok clip and you've got a recipe for fixed EDCsuccess.
